My name is Aigerim. I study at the Faculty of foreign languages. I am a third course student and this year is especially important for me because I am going to write my first course paper.

Initially my feelings were mixed: I was pleased to return to my Institute, to see my friends, but at the same time I was scared… New teachers, new subjects.

The week was very exciting. We got acquainted with new teachers and the subjects they teach, they explained to us their requirements and organization of the lesson.

Of course, I had some difficulties… On Friday we met with our teacher of a new subject, which is called «Modern Methods of Foreign Languages Teaching and Learning». I thought that It was a very difficult subject and I would not ever understand it. But, fortunately, I was wrong.

I am very grateful to our teacher. She explained everything to us and even calmed  us. Now I am more confident. I know that I shouldn’t be afraid, I  just need to believe in myself. I will work hard and try not to let down myself and my teacher. 

Trying to say the truth is not always possible. Telling lies may help us to avoid some troubles. In some situations, we would rather not tell the truth to evade problems that might occur. 

White lies occur those times that we do not feel good to say things straight.However, there is something wrong with lying, even the white one, and it's the consequences that must be faced when the truth is revealed.

Sure, most parents tell lies to their kids. But is there another way to handle this? Could parents actually be truthful and avoid telling lies to their children?

From my point of view, people should be honest — especially parents. We have to remember that the whole world to a young child is primarily made up of time with Mom, Dad and possibly siblings. On top of that, children are naturally trusting.

When we find out that someone has lied us, we don't trust that person anymore. From the child's standpoint, discovering a parent who lies can be devastating. He will never trust, and even worse he will take an example from lying parent. I think, that parents should always tell the truth, no matter what.

New York State Police late Friday arrested the man suspected in a string of Central New Yourk bank robberies. NY police located Robert A. McLemore at an New York-area home after Crimeline received several tips about his whereabouts. McLemore had been sought after four banks were robbed in recent days. Police found evidence of the robberies at the time of McLemore's arrest, New York State police Sgt. Barbara Jones said in a news release.

Kazakhstan is a peaceful country. In our country live more than 130 nationalities, and they never have problems with each other. People here live very friendly. They are so kind and welcoming.

There are many places in our country that are true natural wonders. We have different national reserves, resorts and parks. For example, you can go to the Burabai, relax and spend time very perfectly there. Also, you can enjoy the picturesque views of underwater trees in Kaindy Lake. I don't understand why people go to other countries to relax, if we have so many amazing places.

Also I can say that Kazakh people are hard — working and honest, they respect their traditions and culture. Every year we celebrate our national New Year, which is called «Nauryz». This day people lay the table, prepare the national dish — Beshbarmak and invite guests. Everyone is happy and wishes health and luck each other. This is my favorite holiday.

Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. Astana is a big modern city with unusual and very interesting buildings. This buildings have the form of lighter, flying saucer, tend and so one. Astana is the city of opportunities and career growth.

I believe that we should respect and protect Kazakhstan. I am proud of my homeland.
